Kismet
Suddenly, a bike bears down on me, its horn blaring. A strangerâs swift pull saves me from harm. I tremble, eyes shut, anticipating the worst. But as I open them, I find myself in his warm, reassuring embrace. His steady heartbeat â âthud, thud, thudâ â calms my racing thoughts. Our gazes lock, time standing still. The world around us fades into the background. âYour eyes are breathtakingly beautiful,â I whisper, lost in their depths. He smiles faintly, his lips grazing my ear. âThanks, dear.â ------------------------------------------ I was shocked to death when I saw him. I froze, unable to speak or move. He smiled and put out his hand for a handshake. But I couldnât respond. I quickly picked up my bag and left the cabin, tears streaming down my face. I tried to call Sanjiv, but he didnât answer. Someone grabbed me and dragged me towards the stairs. I struggled to free myself, but it was no use. As I stood between the two arms, I shouted, âLeave.me.alone.Nakshâ. His face was inches from mine, his warm breath on my skin. He moved closer to me, whispering in my ear, âDonât cry, my little girlâ. -----------------------------------------
